It is a great activity to practise critical-thinking. A teacher should use a work of art (a photo, a painting, a picture) and ask three questions - What do you see?, What do you think of it?, What does it make you wonder? Students can work individually, in pairs or in groups.
Tips: The activity works best when students answer by using all three stems at the same time, “I see…, I think…, I wonder…”
For example: I see three children, a destroyed house ...
