Підвищення кваліфікації. (Сертифікат Prometheus)

Карантин - це не час для відпочинку. Працюємо дистанційно. А також підвищуємо кваліфікацію з Prometheus. Вчитель повинен також постійно навчатися. Пізнавально і корисно.
Здала тести і отримала сертифікат. "Медіаграмотність для освітян" - 60 год.

Олімпіада з англійської мови "На урок"

Інтернет-олімпіада "На урок" - цікавий інтерактив для учня та можливість перевірити свої знання. У цьому році і мої учні 5-х та 6-х класів спробували свої сили та отримали непогані результати - є дипломи І, ІІ ступеня. А взагалі, всі учні отримують сертифікати учасника. Всі задоволені та планують в майбутньому знову приймати участь.

Я, як вчитель, отримала подяку та свідоцтва про підготовку переможців.

Shopping for clothes (Role-play)

Role-play is any speaking activity when you either put yourself into somebody else's shoes, or when you stay in your own shoes but put yourself into an imaginary situation!
Imaginary situations - Functional language for a multitude of scenarios can be activated and practised through role-play. 'At the restaurant', 'Checking in at the airport', 'Looking for lost property' are all possible role-plays.

Clothes. Drawing Dictation

It is a good activity to revise a lot of words on the topics "Clothes" and "Colours". A teacher is describing the picture (clothes) and the children are drawing. This activity works well with big classes. It is better to devide the children into groups. I always read the text twice and the children are to remember all the information and then draw the picture.
For example: A girl is wearing a big red hat and a long green scarf. She is wearing a short blue dress and black boots.. etc.

My Shop (Project work)

The task is to design the advertisment for your own shop.
The students are to write the name of the shop and todesign the logo
What goods are you going to sell? Are they cheap or expensive? What goods are on sale?
And remember - Be unique. Bright colours, big letters, eye-catching images. Your ad should draw people's attention

See-Think-Wonder (Critical Thinking)

It is a great activity to practise critical-thinking. A teacher should use a work of art (a photo, a painting, a picture) and ask three questions - What do you see?, What do you think of it?, What does it make you wonder? Students can work individually, in pairs or in groups.
Tips: The activity works best when students answer by using all three stems at the same time, “I see…, I think…, I wonder…” 

For example: I see three children, a destroyed house ...
I think, that the earthquake destroyed the city. ...
I wonder - When did it happen? What country did it happen in? ...

ST. Valentine's Day (сценарій + презентація)

Did you know that in the UK we spend about £503m on cards, flowers, chocolates and other gifts for Valentine's Day? This lesson is designed to be used near the date of Valentine's Day (14 February) to talk about the topic of love and romance.

Aims:

• To practise and develop vocabulary related to love and romance
• To practise speaking and reading skills
• To practise giving opinions

The English language week

 Week of the English Language was a real wonderful and bright event at Shevchenko School in Mena. Children took part in different quizzes, games, lessons which were full of fun and adventures!

У Менському опорному закладі І-ІІІ ступенів ім. Т.Г. Шевченка з 10 лютого по 14 лютого пройшов тиждень англійської мови, згідно річного шкільного плану. Тиждень проводився з метою популяризації вивчення англійської мови, розширення і поглиблення лінгвістичних знань,розвитку комунікативних умінь та навичок.
Темою тижня було обрано свято - День святого Валентина. В рамках тижня було проведено багато різноманітних заходів, які були направлені на розвиток творчих здібностей, самостійності, естетичних смаків здобувачів освіти.
В класах були проведені різноманітні конкурси, вікторини, інформаційні хвилинки.

Учням було запропоновано закінчити речення I am happy because...

Happiness is Not Measured by What You Hold in Your Hand but Heart

Це завдання було направлене на те, щоб учні задумалися над питанням, що для них щастя, над тим, що потрібно радіти кожному дню і цінувати все, що ми маємо.
